I love these people and as much as I wish I ran my own Andy Warhol-styled Factory, these guys and Dan Deacon are already doing it…and there’s not much room for improvement. And unlike Andy’s Factory, everyone at Wham City is making art of some sort or another.

I stopped in their new performance space a few hours before their big opening night and got some incredibly vibrant photos of most of the active Wham City members. If you’re not familiar with Wham City, it is a collective of musicians, performers, designers, illustrators, art savants and other labels that they have yet to create for themselves.

I will be posting the Wham City Polaroids here over the next several days. Here is the first batch!
