I Vant An Avanti!
I am not a big car fan in the sense that I don’t care for large cars nor do I like cars much in general. But, and this is a big but…I LOVE the Avanti!
I fell in love with these cars at the age of six. At the time, I was attending a Catholic school and the only teacher who wasn’t a nun was Mrs. King..she was the first grade teacher…my teacher. She was like a superhero, the only person in the school who didn’t have to wear a uniform. And even better, she drove a blue Avanti.
I was her “pet” student because I could spell really well and did advanced math…sadly my mathematical abilities never improved beyond what I knew in first grade. In any case, she stopped and picked me and my sister up one morning on the walk to school and I never forgot the privilege of riding in that amazing car and wanted one ever since.
