Hampdenfest 2008
I’ve always avoided Hampdenfest for some reason and think I’ll skip Honfest next year and do this one again…it’s funner, less crowded and not as many booths hawking crap. The crowd was a little thinner and made for running into friends and standing in the street easier.
Justin Credible MCd this year’s Hampden Idol competition. I used a screenpainting as a background for this shot. Screenpainting is a very Baltimorecentric folk art form that was practiced and possibly originated by Baltimorean Johnny Eck. Here’s a photo of him working on a screen!
TWO GIRLS ONE HOAGIE. I love this photo, they’re so happy!
Rebecca and her sister.
Happy family! Scott, Josephine and Stephanie. Both Scott and Stephanie were in my In Your Face project and show at the G-Spot in Sept. 06.
The Oranges Band

HampdenFest is DEFINITELY the more preferable if you are picking one festival. It’s my favorite Baltimore event all year!
