Awesome Chicks
I don’t really pay attention to what is politically correct, but I kind of remember reading somewhere recently that women get really pissed off when you call them chicks…who cares, these are awesome chicks and I doubt they would mind me calling them that.
I was hanging out at what may be my ill-fated attempt at recreating a Max’s Kansas City type hang out, Trans-Am (at the Zodiac) when my new friend Rhane Alexander walks in with a fun group of people who had just performed at the Charm City Kitty Club at The Creative Alliance.
TIPPY CANOE
I was so thrilled to finally meet Tippy Canoe who I had known about for years and was “friends” with on myspace for just as long. She has since moved to Brooklyn, but how cool was it that she had her ukulele with her and when I asked if she’d sing a song, she did not a bat an eye, just whipped it out and sang the most beautiful song for us.

Lisa Harbin of Secret Crush Society flattered me by saying she had been wanting me to Polaroid her. Lisa, we’ll get another one…I know we can do more. Then I made the mistake of letting Tippy take my photo…
People always ask if they can take my picture with my camera and I mostly say no because I don’t usually like the results…I don’t particularly want my photo taken, especially when my manga avatar looks better than I do. AND for some reason I put my hands up. Am I surprised? Directing air traffic? Paralyzed??
